Dr. Dawn Langley (Director, Alchemy Research & Consultancy) has experience of reviewing and/or working with a wide range of clients on capacity, capability, organisational design and performance issues, these have included arts and cultural organisations, Non-departmental Public Bodies, local authorities, several universities and nonprofit organisations.
Dawn’s main areas of interest and activity are:

- Organisational change and transition management
- Organisational learning
- Evaluation and research
She has spent many years undertaking organisational diagnostics, reviewing business models and supporting organisational turnaround. Alchemy’s clients have included: Arts Council England, Arts Council Wales, Creative & Cultural Skills, London School of Economics, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Towner Eastbourne, Clean Break, A New Direction, and the NHS South West Leadership Development Academy.
The interrelationship between theory and practice is an essential element of Dawn’s work, she has an MSC in Change Agent Skills & Strategies, and a PhD in organisational learning. She regularly researches and presents at academic conferences about the issues she encounters in her work.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a member of the Association for Management Education and Development, European Group for Organisational Studies and OD Network Europe. She was Chair of Graeae Theatre Company for seven years and is currently Chair of Aspex, Portsmouth.
