A career of pivoting, career and business wise.  My paid for full time career started in teaching, which I left after 3 years, on the grounds that in the UK teaching is (unfairly) equated with the idea of not being able to do anything else.  I then looked for a job, went into the Hospitality Industry as a divisional accountant, reporting to Board level. After 5 and half years, great & wide experience, a number of qualifications I changed tack again. Reason, I loved being an accountant, but felt I could add more. I started my own business from my back bedroom in Feb 1995 and continued from there.

I am highly experienced and qualified in accounting, tax & business. I have picked up qualifications, passed exams beyond accounting: FCCA, FTT, FRSA, DMS, PGCE, BSc (Hons). In the early stage of my business I got the opportunity to work overseas in Cuba, Russia, and East Africa. A great career start and I have managed to teach at educational levels, primary to post graduate, vocational to academic
